Revised Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (R.A.N.M) is an 2 Years programme. The programme is divided
into Theory and Clinical blocks:
Theory Blocks - During this period the student is expected to attend classes
in the college
Campus as per the rotation plan. The Theory portion will be covered in the form of Lectures,
Lecture cum Demonstration, Seminars, assignments, projects etc.
Clinical Blocks - During this period the students will be posted in Hospital
wards, Community set up or any other area approved for the experience. The student will be
expected to provide
care to the individuals or the families and complete assignments as outlined in the curriculum.
More focus is given to community oriented training.50% is the Standard of passing in each
subject in both Theory and Practical's.
General Nurse Midwife (G.N.M) is an 3 Years programme. The programme is divided into Theory and
Clinical blocks:
